#RTIlife: Governor of Saran told about the revival of an abandoned village
Anchor projects, industrial zone, housing restoration-in the city of Saran, Karaganda region, the village of RTI, which was deserted in the 90s, is being revived.
Governor of the city Yerzhan Temirkhanov in his video report in social networks spoke about the transformations.
– The long-awaited restoration of the RTI industrial site. The Yutong bus assembly plant was launched. The second anchor project is the production of tires. Today, the construction of the plant is in full swing, in 2022, investors plan to put it into operation – - said the governor of Saran.
An industrial zone was created on the same territory with the support of the country's leadership. Its area is 180 hectares. Business will be able to implement its projects on the ready-made infrastructure.
- A growth point has appeared in the city, which will allow to diversify the economy of the region. The main thing is at least 5 thousand jobs. A unique opportunity to restore 11 hectares of the RTI residential area in the next five years. This is what we are doing today, - Yerzhan Temirkhanov stressed.
The reconstruction of high-rise buildings that have been empty for many years has already begun. This year, it is planned to restore two houses. By 2025, about 70 apartment buildings should acquire a new lease on life. Improvement of two yard territories, a mini-square and repair of intra-block roads of the RTI microdistrict have also been started.
