The main economic indicators have increased in Karaganda region. This was announced at the meeting in the akimat by the acting head of the Department of Economics Gulmira Abisheva.
This year, the region produced more industrial products - by 0.7 percent. The total amount reached 1 trillion 472.8 billion tenge. The index of physical volume in the mining industry increased by 10.7 percent. The reason is that more metal ores and non-ferrous metals have been mined in the region.
Positive dynamics are recorded in non-ferrous metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, food production and other areas.
- In agriculture, gross output was provided by 118.3 billion tenge, with an increase of 2.9% compared to January-July last year. Growth is expected in all areas, said Gulmira Abisheva.
