In Karaganda region, industrial products worth KZT 2 trillion were produced in six months
The results of the first half of the year were summed up in Karaganda region. Growth is ensured in all the main indicators of socio-economic development.
This year, the region faces the task of ensuring economic growth by 3.4 per cent. For this purpose, the target parameters for each industry are defined. In January – June, the positive dynamics of the main indicators of socio-economic development was ensured.
The volume of industrial production amounted to KZT 2 trillion, with an increase of 1.4 per cent.
The manufacturing industry is expected to grow by 3.7 per cent.
In construction, volumes increased by almost 13 per cent. 214 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, with an increase of 10 per cent.
For six months, more than 17 thousand people were employed in the region under the "Enbek" program. According to all state programs, it is planned to create more than 33 thousand jobs for 2021.
In 2021 there is a task in the region to provide citizens with access to drinking water supply at the level of 98.2 per cent, in villages - up to 90 per cent.
