Askar Mamin's visit to the UAE: investment agreements for: $2.2 billion signed

Prime Minister Askar Mamin, as part of his working trip to Abu Dhabi, held talks with the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The parties discussed the progress in the implementation of the agreements reached earlier and the prospects for bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, financial and investment, transport and logistics, agro-industrial, tourism, space, mining and metallurgical, energy and other areas.  The head of government also met with the captains of the UAE business - the management of the state holding Mubadala, Aldar Properties, ADQ, Al Dahra Holding, International Holdings Company (Royal Group).
As a result of the negotiations, 17 intergovernmental and commercial agreements were signed between Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE on the implementation of joint projects for the construction of poultry farms and dairy farms, the production and processing of fruits and mushrooms, cooperation in the mining and metallurgical industries and geological exploration, the creation of an Industrial Park in the industrial zone of Ekibastuz, the tourist complex "Katon-Karagay" in the East Kazakhstan region, as well as the opening of the production of components for electric vehicles in Kazakhstan.

The UAE will take part in the implementation of water supply and sewerage projects in Karaganda region, which involve the transfer of advanced technologies and the subsequent localization of production in Kazakhstan.
