In Karaganda region will build two recycling plants
Two plants for recycling solid waste will be built in Karaganda region by 2020. The total cost of the project will be more than 10.2 billion tenge.
In Karaganda, construction of the plant will begin in 2019 at the initiative of GorKomTrans LLP. The cost of the project will be 2 billion tenge. As reported on the website of the akimat of the Karaganda region, it is assumed that the enterprise will process 300 thousand tons of waste per year, with the possibility of generating 15 MW of electricity.
Also in the village of Kengir there will be a bioelectric power plant processing waste. Kaz Green Energy LLP plans to invest in its construction KZT 8.2 billion. In a year, this plant will be able to process up to 100 thousand MSW. Negotiations are underway with a potential E-Green investor, which has similar bio-power plants in Europe and Turkey.
